The Jomo Kenyatta University Students Association (JKUSA) Awards was established in 2015 - by the students’ council – to recognize exemplary characters, appreciate co-curricular activities, honor good deeds and to motivate active participation in clubs and societies.

The event is meant to foster equality and fairness in recognizing those who have contributed positively to the developments within JKUAT main campus as well as the branch campuses. These awards are not academically based but rather focus on the extra niche that companies look for in graduates nowadays. These awards therefore recognize talents, leadership skills and the ability to stand out from the rest.
Over 50 categories spanning across multiple disciplines.
Male and female achievers to be feted.
Maximum capacity for maximum impact.
All to happen at one venue on one night.
